About
Why WaTech Exists
Founder and president Darren Watts built WaTech in Auburn Hills after seeing how fragmented technology support affected growing businesses. Leaders were losing time to recurring problems, confusing technical answers, and vendors who addressed isolated symptoms without considering the full environment. WaTech took a broader approach by treating computers, networks, phones, security, cloud systems, and physical infrastructure as connected parts of one business system.
That perspective shaped our technology utility company model. We can serve as a complete outsourced IT department or work alongside an internal team that needs additional expertise and capacity. Remote monitoring and support are backed by Michigan-based engineers and field technicians who can handle on-site infrastructure work when needed.
Today, WaTech supports organizations that depend on reliable technology but do not want to manage every technical detail themselves. Our capabilities as a managed service provider, FCC-licensed VoIP provider, and low-voltage provider give clients one accountable team across much of their technology environment. We explain issues in practical terms, look for underlying causes, and recommend decisions based on the client’s operations and goals.

How We Work with Clients
See the Complete Environment
A network problem may involve devices, internet service, cabling, security, or communications. We consider how each component affects the larger business environment before recommending a path forward.
Prevent What We Can
Monitoring, maintenance, and planning can reduce avoidable disruptions and expose developing risks. We focus on resolving underlying issues rather than repeatedly applying short-term patches.
Keep Communication Human
Clients deserve clear answers without unnecessary jargon. Our live-answer help desk connects clients with technicians who can understand the issue and explain the next step.
Put the Client’s Needs First
Technology decisions should support the client’s operations, people, and long-term plans. We work to recommend what fits the business rather than treating every situation as a technology-only transaction.
